In Crimea Took Place Festive Opening of “Kuwait” Mosque

By mercy of Allah the Almighty in Solnechnogorsk, Alushta region of Crimea took place the ceremony of festive opening of “Kuwait” mosque.

“Opening of the mosque is in itself a remarkable event. But opening of such a majestic and beautiful temple, such as “Kuwait” mosque on the Crimean land is not just a joyful, but also a historical event. I hope that the complex will become the light of faith which would preserve national and religious traditions of Tatars, and the mosque in itself will be the symbol of peace and spiritual revival”, said the Mufti of Crimea, Hadji Emirali Ablayev in the course of the relic’s opening.

Except the Mufti on the opening of the first quay mosque were present the president of “Al-Raid” Ismail Qadi, the head of the Crimean department of the Association Muhammad Taha, the representative of State Fund of Kuwait Abdurrahman Attarkid and tens of Muslims, the inhabitants of the region.

Dr. Ismail Qadi pointed his attention on the importance and necessity of the mosque for Muslims not only as a place of worship, but also as a symbol of unification and spiritual enrichment. He thanked to all who contributed to realization of this project.

After the traditional cutting of the red ribbon, official persons and guests together with the region inhabitants performed in the mosque their first Friday prayer.
