The Feast of Id Al-Fitr United about 1500 Muslims in Kiev ICC

On Tuesday, September, 30, in the Islamic Cultural Center at 8am took place the festive prayer devoted to the feast of Id Al-Fitr. The feast of breaking fast is celebrated by Muslims of the whole world on the ending of the holy month of Ramadan, praising the Almighty.

The festive prayer began by two rakats on the end of which Imam of the ICC Sheikh Imad Abu Al-Rub conducted the sermon. He spoke about the importance of celebrating for Muslims, and also edified the present to keep the same high level of faith during all the year as it was noticeable in Ramadan.

And then, with warm words of congratulations, Muslims were addressed by the head of "Alraid" Ismail Qadi, who reminded Muslims about importance to foster ties of kinship and striving to perform good deeds and actions, as the best example of Muslims' behaviour.

On the end of the prayer on the yard of the Islamic Cultural Center Muslims were awaited by gifts, hot drinks and sweets.

The Muslim holiday was not left without attention by the representatives of mass-media. To cover the celebration there came journalists from main TV-channels of Ukraine. So, the correspondents of "The 5-th channel» and "1+1" were interested in Muslims' celebration in the interview with the head of "Аlraid" Ismail Qadi.

It is necessary to note that about 1500 persons visited the Islamic Cultural Center in this wonderful morning. A lot of Muslims came on the festive prayer with their kids. After namaz they could be distinguished among the set of people by quickly moving multi-coloured balloons, handed to the children upon the end of the prayer. And their cheers gave to the holiday unique colouring of happiness and satisfaction.

Festive prayers took place in all Centers of "Alraid" in Ukraine.

Id Al-Fitr is not just a holiday and a pleasure for all believers, but also a mark of attention and mercy to poor Muslim families of Ukraine.

Following the traditions of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him), on this wonderful holiday about 800 Muslim orphan children in Crimea felt attention and care on the part of their believing brothers.

"Аlraid" wishes all Muslims goods and well-being in their families.
