Public Organization " Al-Goda " on Official Reception in the Mayoralty of Poltava

Social Organization "Al-Goda" took part in the work of a round table devoted to social questions and human rights, including foreigners. The session took place in the city mayoralty of Poltava initiated by the Department on Affairs of Immigration and Passport Control.

At the meeting were present the governor assistant, the chief on questions of immigration and passport control, the dean of Medical Academy on Affairs of Foreigners, and also representatives of some social organizations of the city among whom was the chairman of Social Organization "Al-Goda " Mohammed Al-Shrafi.

The participants discussed a situation with human rights in the city, the status of the foreigners living in Poltava, and also considered some difficulties and ways of their overcoming according to the observance of norms and laws.

Mr. Al-Shrafi offered his view of maintenance of human rights and interests of foreigners and expressed readiness for interaction with representatives of the Poltava administration.

The city administration welcomed the offer of Mr. Al-Shrafi about visiting prisons where there are Muslims who broke the law, with an aim informing that Islam is religion of peace and respects human rights and freedom, and also condemns any made harm to any human person.
