On end of the Holy Month of Ramadan and approach of the great holiday of breaking fast in the Islamic Cultural Centers took place a festive prayer. Only in the Kiev mosque there gathered about 2000 Muslims.
In the city passes the All-Ukraine Competition of the Quran Reciters. Competition is carried out annually with support of the All-Ukraine Social Organization "Аlraid".
On September, 6th, 2009, in Simferopol took place the All-Ukraine Competition of the Quran Reciters. Organizers of the action were the AUASO "Аlraid" and the Spiritual Management of Muslims of Crimea.
At once five Muslims will present Ukraine in various international competitions on reciting of Holy Quran by heart. To hold similar competitions in Ramadan for a long time became kind of tradition in the whole Muslim world.
