Dear brothers and sisters in faith! By the grace of God, we witnessed another Ramadan, and another Eid el-Fitr. We weren’t tried by some extreme weather conditions this year, but plenty of Ukrainian Muslims suffered persecution on the occupied territories and in the Russian prisons. They were jailed on false charges, though it was obvious that they were political prisoners. While thanking God for us having successfully completed the month of fasting, let us not forget those people in our prayers. Let us not forget other people in need, not just in our prayers, but in our actions as well.
During that past month of fasting, we all worked hard to become better persons, purify ourselves from sin and get closer to God. Allah Almighty made the task easier for us by chaining all the devils for the whole month. But today, when the devils are unchained again, we have to do our best and keep those achievements despite the increased temptations.
