Head of AUASO "Alraid" took part in WAMY XI th International Conference

The head of the all-Ukraine Association of Social Organizations "Аlraid" Ismail Kadi took part in work of 11th International conference of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) which collected representatives of not less than 50 countries of the Islamic world in Djakarta from October, 2nd, till October, 4th, 2010.


According to the director of WAMY in Indonesia Ustaz Ang Calvin, in the Assembly which was opened by the president of the country Susilo Bambang Judhoyono, took part members of governments, members of parliament, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGO), scientists, writers, workers of education sphere from various countries. They will discuss questions, actual for Islamic youth; will address to the topic "Youth and social responsibility", in particular.

Participants of the conference from
Europe were the president of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe (FIOE) Shakib Bin-Mahluf, and also the head of the AUASO "Alraid" Ismail Kadi.

More than for forty years of its existence, WAMY prepared many known Muslim scholars and figures, among them the former vice-premier of Malaysia Anvar Ibrahim (Anwar Ibrahim), the founder of a mosque of Salman at the Institute of technology Bandung Muhammad Imaduddin Abdurahim (Bang Imad), etc.

The present conference of WAMY which passed in Indonesia for the first time, was visited by known statesmen, in particular, Sheikh Salih bin Abdul Aziz (the minister of affairs of Islam and wakufs of Saudi Arabia and the president of WAMY), Sheikh Abdullah ben Suleyman al-Mani (the main judge of Saudi Arabia) and other high-ranking officials.

The minister of
Indonesia on social problems Salim Segaf Al Jufri welcomed carrying out of a youth forum in this country. He emphasized positive contribution of the Organization in spiritual and intellectual development of Muslim youth. In particular, with support of WAMY and with the assistance of the ministry in the country is conducted the scale program of rehabilitation of narcodependent, he informed.

Let us remind, WAMY - the world youth non-governmental organization - is an associate member of the United Nations Organization. The organization sets as the purpose comprehensively to support Muslim youth in social development for realization of its potential in realities of a modern society. Also organization activity is directed on removal of social intensity and protection of youth against extremism display.
