On 27 June, right before the Constitution Day, Odesa Muslimahs delivered a packed minivan of clothes and footwear they’ve been collecting at Odesa Islamic Cultural Centre since early Ramadan to the Regional Department of Ukrainian Blind Association.
Believers from several mosques spent all that time bringing clothes and footwear in order to help those in need. The joy was overwhelming: blind people love presents and wardrobe renovations as much as people who have no problem with their eyes. People started trying on and picking the things they liked most; luckily, there was plenty to choose from.
Odesa Muslims thank God for having the opportunity to do something for other people, for by helping others, one is helping themselves.
