Inner and outer hijab, enacting Qur’anic prescriptions in one’s life, career guidance and choosing a spouse — all that was included in the teenage-oriented literacy project for young girls aged 14 to 19, facilitated by the AUASO “Alraid” family affairs committee and the Women’s Social organisation ”Maryam”.

The lectures, namely Ms.Irina Grudanova, Ms.Tanzilya Issa and also Sheikh Haydar Al-Hajj tried to hit it over the fence to 17 young ladies from Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv and Donetsk that the Muslim woman’s modest clothing means the obligation for the modest conduct, kindness and tenderness to other people, restraining oneself from backbiting; that there’s no use in reading the Qur’an is one doesn’t follow it’s prescriptions in life; that deciding what to become or, moreover, whom to marry, are the matters where haste is waste.

The lectures were alternated by trainings, walks and excursions, so that the participants weren’t bored. The girls were glad for spending such time together, and wished that there is another opportunity for them to participate in an event like that.
