This project has been launched at the very beginning of XXI century to help the Crimean Tatar repatriate families who have to start from nothing upon their returning to their Homeland. A cow is considered the fosterer of a family for many centuries, and having a cow always meant wealth at the countryside. Losing a cow, especially during lean years, was a catastrophe in ancient times and remains so even now, as both purchasing a grown-up cow and raising a stirk is quite expensive and often becomes unattainable luxury for rural residents.

Each of the 428 Crimean tatar low-income families received a cow this far since the project is on the run.
