Not all, but just a few really notice that the world around is filled with  Lord’s countless gifts. Creative competition facilitated by the Female Department of the AUASO “Alraid” Donbass Office jn March 16, was meant to show this fact to Muslim children and teenagers. The contest had a corresponding title: ‘Gifts of Allah“.

The competition was tributed to fruits, vegetables and other food mentioned in the Noble Qur’an and the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) Sunnah. Each of the 19 participants received their own special task: find as many mentionings as possible for a certain product in the Qur’an and Sunnah and collect information for why this product is useful and what interesting facts are known about it. All this would result in a presentation fulfilled, if waned, by the author’s craft work or rhymes. The participants were divided to a child’s and a teenagers group in order to make the challenge fair.

The jury had a hard work to do when defining the prize-winners, as everybody was well-prepared and performed good; every one hundredth part of a point was important. In the end the prizewinners were announced and awarded. These were: Seven year-old Ms.Amira Hashan, four year-old Ms.Iman Mohamed and eight year-old Mr.‘Ala Isa in the children’s group and fourteen year-old Mr.Ilkin Kerimov, nine year-old Ms.Imen Aisaui and eleven year-old Mr.Omar Isa in the teenager’s group. Fifteen year-old Mr. Hamid Abdo won the Audience Award.
