The second anniversary since the beginning of anti-government uprising of the heroic Syrian people against the dictator B.Asad regime is forthcoming. Since then, victims of the bloody conflict have exceeded seventy thousand and millions have fled and become refugees or lost their homes.

The dictator stakes on the division of Syrians by religious and national belonging, trying to clash Sunnis, Alavis, Christians and Curds. Brutal bombardments by military aviation and artillery shelling, bloody raids of “death squadrons” are widely used. But there’s nothing capable to destroy the people that rose against the tyrant.

The Syrian national coalition has integrated virtually all the core groups of the Syrian population: Sunnis, Alavis, Christians, Curds and others. Rebels have gained considerable success. Fighting has been on in Damask and Aleppo, with the increasing number of regions liberated from the occupation.

However, fighting, manifold victims and sufferings are yet to come. The heroic

Syrian people, therefore, need the massive and wide-scale international aid. Ukrainian Muslims, just like Ukrainian Christians, reaffirm their solidarity these days with selfless fighting of Syrians for their freedom, justice and better life.

Together with the international community and people of good will they demand ousting of the bankrupt tyrant in as soon as possible terms, release of the political prisoners and establishment of the government of national unity.

We believe that Syrian people shall win the long-awaited and pained victory! May the Most High grant victory to the Syrian people in the soonest possible time, help them meet their just demands and lawful expectations, and relieve their pain and sufferings.
