Experience of AUASO "Alraid" is presented within Limits of scientifically-practical Conference in Kharkov

All over the world the role of social organizations becomes stronger and stronger; they are treated at the highest level. And though in Ukraine the civil society is still developed poorly and people got used to rely on the state institutes more - in our country appeared social organizations bringing powerful contribution to the development of not only Ukrainian society, but also international relations.

The chairman of Kharkov branch of the AUASO "Аlraid", doctor Shadi Otman, presented experience of the Association at the plenary session of the Interuniversity Scientifically-Practical Conference which passed on December, 22nd, 2011: "Ukraine and the world: political, economic and culturological issues" in Kharkov.

The action in which participated lecturers, post-graduate students and students of the Ukrainian universities, Ukrainian and foreign experts and scholars, was organized by the Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations "Kharkov Collegiate".
Speaking about integration processes, cooperation with the EU and the Oriental states, doctor Otman told about that role which social organizations can play in these relations. It can be rather considerable, what was proven by example of "Alraid" - one of few organizations in our country, representing itself as a bridge between the East and the West.

As the Association of Muslim Social Organizations, "Alraid" is close to the Muslim East and has fine relations with the similar organizations and funds in the Muslim world. On the other hand, the Association created and functioning in Ukraine, the European state is closely connected with other Muslim organizations of Europe.

Doctor Otman emphasized that the Association not only consolidates the Ukrainian Muslims, assisting in formation and development of the Muslim Ummah in Ukraine, increase of its contribution to strengthening of the Ukrainian society, development of economic relations, sciences, culture and spiritual health. Islamic Social Organizations which are a part of "Alraid" fruitfully work in the field of strengthening of the Ukrainian nation as consolidated multicultural community, its development on the basis of internal dialogue, humanistic values and tolerance, and also for formation of the Ukrainian society on civil unity and cultural variety. Moreover, the Association conducts fruitful social and charitable work, carrying out socially useful projects and assisting those who need it.

After the end of the plenary session started the work of six sections in which participants were going to discuss the received information, and also to present and listen to reports within the limits of narrower specializations.
