"We have only sent you as a Mercy for all Worlds" – Reminding about the Prophet's Birthday

In the Kharkov Islamic Cultural Centre gathered more than 250 persons in honor of birthday of the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessings be upon him). In the action were present the representatives of Afghani, Azerbaijan and Tajik diasporas of Ukraine, and also foreign students who came to study in the first capital of Ukraine. At the opening of the evening were expressed words of gratitude to the Social Organization "Al-Manar" for the initiative in the organization of such actions where Muslims of different nationalities living in Kharkov feel consolidated and rallied.

In his turn, the chairman of the Islamic Cultural Centre Shadi Othman thanked the present for the active participation in all events which take place in the Kharkov ISCC. He also noted about the importance of such a day, as birthday of the Prophet reminds us of favor which has been granted by the Supreme to the mankind. After all, as it is stated in the Holy Quran, "We have only sent you as a mercy for all worlds".

After the opening speech the cultural-entertaining program of the evening started. In the beginning there were given some lessons about the life course of our great Prophet and his appeal, and then sounded the Islamic song performed by creative talents of "Al-Manar" Organization.
