About three dozens of women and girls of different age visited Kyiv ICC on March 7 in order to participate in a roundtable on harmony of body and the spirit.

A person with a beautiful and cared-for appearance is always nice to look at and draws public attention; they are more likely to be approached in order to know them better. The disappointment, however, is so great when you see nothing behind the pretty face! On the contrary, you’d like to have someone with a beautiful soul around, but the problem is you can’t see the soul beauty at one glance when it’s hidden behind a repugnant or disorderly appearance. Combining both is the only way. Moreover, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) himself called every Muslim for it: “the Lord is beautiful and He loves beauty!”

“But what if one wasn’t born attractive?” — that is the question which makes a lot of people just give up, and only a few think of the fact that a cared-for, healthy and fit look is always better than neglected and bloated “natural beauty”. Besides, adverse impact of harmful habits on physical health it is well known, but still it’s no less dangerous for mental health as well!

They spoke of both at the roundtable: why it’s important for a woman to cafe both for the body (stay fit, mind the posture, live and eat healthy, care for skin, massage face and body) and the soul (track the qualities and habits that ruin one’s inner beauty and try to get rid of them, and, on the contrary, which qualities are always appreciated).
