Simferopol Islamic Cultural Centre Children’s Saturday School “Habibullah” honoured  their “gilded youth”. The criteria, however, wasn’t at all about the prosperity of the parents, but rather individual merits and achievements of the pupils themselves.

On February 8, Saturday, the teachers celebrated the achievements of their pupils on a solemn ceremony, awarding them with gold, silver and bronze diplomas; every last student received a recognition gift.

It is worthy of note that the nominates don’t relax after being awarded: last year nominees were trying hard this year, too.

Islam encourages every person to obtain useful knowledge and distribute it; this is one of the most important ways of achieving Heaven. The Holy Quran says, “Allah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.”(58:11)
