The
Odessa
Center is the very first Islamic Centre opened on the
territory of
Ukraine. In the Center building works regional Social Organization "Al-Masar".

In the Centre there are:

• A hall for prayers (a mosque), intended for 500 persons
• Russian and Arabic libraries where is collected numerous literature, compact discs, audio- and video-tapes about Islam and oriental culture
• A Sunday school on studying of the Arabic language and the culture of the Islamic world
• A gym, equipped by training apparatus and a table tennis
• A drawing room where take place meetings with frequent visitors of actions of the Centre
