Female parishioners of mosque at Kharkiv Islamic Cultural Centre “Al-Manar” facilitated a sweets charity fair “Lights of Ramadan”. They baked muffins and cupcakes and decorated them with marchpane chreschends, minarets and subha; prepared the bags of sweets and Kaabah-shaped Gift sets. All those were positions at a charitable auction without minimal price.

All the sweets were bought on the very same evening: everybody wanted to taste the treats and participate in a charitable event. The prices were between UAH 10 and several hundred per item. Thus, the box for charity was filled in an eyeblink, and the benefactors not only helped the needy, but also pleasantly surprised their families with the original sweets for iftar.
