“Get Acquainted with Islam”

| Muslim Dervishev explained the pillars of Islam. |
Simferopol. - In Simferopol Islamic Culture Center took place training program under the project “Get Acquainted with Islam” on the topic “Islam without Extremes and Stereotypes”. On the meeting were present about 30 persons: university lecturers, teachers, journalists. The training program was initiated by “Alraid” Association, which conducted similar events in other regions of Ukraine, too.
The meeting was opened by the head of the Crimean department of “Alraid” Muhammad Taha with the words of greeting and gratitude to all the present. He also noted that Islam is the world religion, propagating peace, well-being and tolerance.
The meeting was continued by the head of youth Islamic organization “Zarya” (“Daybreak”) Muslim Dervishev with his speech which concerned the pillars of faith, and then the activist of organization Ruslan Ablyakimov told about the pillars of Islam. The aim of the speech was to explain the real essence of Islam and its fundamentals. In the course of discussion the spectators actively asked questions concerning different topics which were interesting for them.
In the nearest time similar training programs will be organized by the Association “Alraid” in other regions of the country, too.
