A Visit To An Orphanage In Crimea

Leaving for a journey under the principles and concern of the poor and the needy, The Federation of the Social Organizations ARRAID stood up for humanitarian aid hence visiting one of the orphanages in Hay Stronogovka in the city of Simferopol, Ukraine. The Orphanage cares for almost 130 orphans aged between 2-6 years who are all U Ukrainians and non-Muslims.

The visit was organized by Dr. Taha, the in charge of the ARRAID organization in the Crimean Island, together with his vice Dr. Ismail AL-Qadi who is also a delegate of Ukrainian presidency in the Crimea peninsula.

The visit started with the acquaintance with the supervisors of this orphanage. The visitors were warmly received by after which they had a seat together. Afterwards they had a chance to meet the orphans who had prepared the guests a small party presenting them some nice songs and interesting theatre plays. After the beautiful party ARRAID kindly distributed the presents to the children such as toys, sweets, and stationeries e.g. pens, pencils, drawing pencils, books, and other necessities.

The kids were so happy to receive the presents. The organization supplied them with the help and as a result the head office of the orphanage returned back on behalf of the shelter its sincere thanks to ARRAID. And from this humanitarian work we would really hope it will persist to help more shelters. Towards the end of the visit photos were taken with them for remembrance.

Well known is that this campaign will recur in the incoming days in Crimea as well as other regions of Ukraine.
