A Visit To An Orphanage In Crimea
Leaving for a journey under the principles and concern of the poor and the needy, The Federation of the Social Organizations ARRAID stood up for humanitarian aid hence visiting one of the orphanages in Hay Stronogovka in the city of Simferopol, Ukraine. The Orphanage cares for almost 130 orphans aged between 2-6 years who are all U Ukrainians and non-Muslims.

The Crimean Tatars - people between all fronts
On the Crimea peninsular in the Black Sea live about 300' 000 Crimean Tatars. They count as natives of the strategically important Crimea, are sunnit Muslim and speak their own language which is related to the Turkish. Their number counts not even one percent of the Ukrainian population, nevertheless, increased during the last years continuously, trend increasingly.

On 11 February 2003, Muslims in Ukraine and all over the world marked the feast of Kurban-Bairam. On this occasion, a festive prayer service was held in the mosque of the Islamic Cultural Center in Kyiv.
