On the previous week-end at 1st and 2nd of December was held the 8th conference of the Association "Alraid", in the frames of which was re-elected the head of the Association, was read the report about the two years' work and were held the elections of the members of the inspection commission.

World-Wide Forum of Hafiz of The Holy Quran took place in the end of November in Kuwait. In the forum participated representatives of more than 60 countries of the world and famous Muslim agents. The meeting was held under the title "Quran Hafiz – Reliability of the Society". In the meeting participated representatives of the Crimean Hafiz School, too.

In Crimea took place a scientific practical conference which discussed the questions of education of young people in realities of Ukrainian society. Realizing the role of education of the rising generation in the building of a healthy society, representatives of public, religious and governmental organizations of Crimea met for the discussion of sore problems.

On November, 5th, 2007 in the Islamic social cultural center of Kiev took place a conference «Islam in the world of globalization». The organizers of this meeting were Ukrainian public organization «The Ukrainian center of Islamic researches» and Ukrainian association of social organizations «Аl’raid». Conference has been dated to the 10th anniversary of activity IАSО «Аrraid» in Ukraine.

On Saturday, October, 20, Roman Catholic Foma Akvinsky theological university of religious sciences carried out a conference "On crossroads of spirit and world".

Never before in the Islamic social cultural centre of Kiev gathered such a quantity of people for participation in the festive prayer devoted to the ending of the Blessed month of Ramadan. On the festive prayer there were present about 1500 Moslems.

Traditionally, during Ramadan in Crimea takes place competition of the Quran readers where compete tens of Moslems basically from Crimea. However, this year its organizers decided to expand the geography of the participants and invited to the competition the Quran readers from the whole Ukraine.

How to explain to him in a correct way that studying is an important aspect in his life? These and many other questions were answered by the practicing psychologist Yana Omelchenko.

In the course of recent years in the Ukrainian information space periodically appear messages about the threat of terrorism which is claimed to loom above Ukraine. However, all the information which concerns this "threat" seems to be too monotonous and deprived of any concrete and trustworthy facts.

The scientific meeting on vital topic - "The Concept of Jihad" took place in Kiev. Its purpose was to report the objective information and to destroy stereotypes concerning this aspect of Islam.
