Organizers of the seminar aimed at informing the topical information to improve Imams’ work in Crimea.

Simferopol, May, 4. - In Simferopol took place a seminar devoted to the topic «Islamic revival: from establishment to maturity». In the seminar participated approximately two hundred Imams of mosques from all parts of Crimean peninsula.

At the meeting which was organized by Association "Arraid" and Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea in the building of the Simferopol Islamic cultural center were discussed some problems of revival of Islamic culture among Crimean Moslems.

The meeting was opened by the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablayev and the chairman of Islamic social cultural center "Arraid" in Crimea Muhammad Taha.

Emirali Ablayev paid Imams’ attention to the responsibility of distribution of correct understanding of Islam among Crimean Moslems.

Mohammed Taha in his turn has called Imams to show Islam in their practice in such a way as it actually is - without extremes and biases, religion of peace, mutual respect and sympathy, condemning violence and hatred to associates.

The seminar passed under the direction of the principal of The School of Hafiths Seyran Arifov. He has told to all the present about actual problems and defects of Moslem activists who prevent the development of correct understanding of basic principles of Islam.

The principal of The School of Hafiths has divided his report into 10 points in which he has called to use experience of the previous generations in our ummah and to by-pass those mistakes which they have faced, and certainly base everything on inexhaustible wisdom of the Noble Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).

Participants of the seminar expressed their hope that similar meetings can effectively influence the development and revival of Islamic culture on peninsula and united in desire to conduct such seminars in the future.
